Veyrah Law advises Pristyn Care on raising USD 4 Million from Sequoia India

Pristyn Care, a health delivery start-up, has raised USD 4 Million in Series A funding from Sequoia India wherein Sequoia India subscribed to equity and preference shares of Pristyn Care.

Veyrah Law advised Pristyn Care, led by partner Ajay Joseph; associates Anshul Pandey and Priyanka Zaveri. The Veyrah Law team assisted Pristyn Care with structuring, drafting/negotiating the term sheet, drafting/negotiating and signing the transaction documents and closing.

Themis Associates advised Sequoia India, led by associate partner Nisha Mallik; senior associate Radhika Sarkar; and associates Rahul Roy and Shruti Mahajan.

Pristyn Care was founded in late 2018 and offers patients affordable advanced surgical care through innovative surgical techniques and recovery measures. It offers patients a range of elective surgeries across proctology, gynaecology, urology and ENT.

Sequoia India is known to invest in both public and private companies. It specializes in incubation, seed stage, start-up stage, early stage and growth stage investments in private companies. It has invested in a number of companies over the years, providing them with much needed capital for their growth and development.

The deal was completed on January 30, 2019 and announced on June 3, 2019.
