Anshu is a recognized commercial litigator with substantial experience as an arguing and briefing counsel representing clients across a range of industry sectors and commercial disputes. He also actively formulates litigation strategy and assists businesses in managing their commercial disputes for outcomes aligned with their commercial objective. As part of pre-litigation support, Anshu recommends strategy and assists in drafting and preparing communications with counter parties to potential commercial disputes. Anshu’s expertise as a strategy and advisory litigation counsel places him in a unique position to work alongside the Corporate M&A practice team to collectively represent clients over a multitude of commercial disputes.

Anshu regularly represents clients for M&A disputes, shareholder disputes, Insolvency cases, arbitration proceedings (domestic and international), civil matters, interim reliefs, writs, recovery related issues, intellectual property rights related issues and White Collar criminal prosecutions. He appears before the Supreme Court of India, State High Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunals, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and other judicial authorities across India. He also briefs and appears along with some of the leading designated senior counsels in India before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, tribunals and other judicial forums.

Anshu’s clients include reputed corporations such as Bank of America / DSP Merrill Lynch, Eros International Media Ltd., Nimbus Communications, Anantraj Group, Trimble Europe BV, Xian Electric Engineering Co. Ltd (China) amongst others.
