Jyothi is a dual-focused advocate with strong experience in both corporate advisory and litigation practice. Her work spans contract law, company law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and taxation, alongside active litigation across constitutional, energy, regulatory, and criminal matters. She regularly appears before the High Courts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka, and has argued before the Supreme Court of India, the National Company Law Tribunal, the Electricity Regulatory Commissions, and the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity.
In her corporate practice, Jyothi has advised infrastructure groups, multinational corporations, and financial institutions on group restructuring, cross-border structuring, regulatory compliance, and commercial agreements, drawing on her experience with leading firms and senior counsel. Her litigation work includes representing prominent clients such as India Cements, HDFC Bank, HPCL, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories in matters involving taxation, electricity duty, tariff revisions, and environmental compliance. She has also played a key role in high-impact public matters including the Amaravati capital litigation and R-5 zone challenge.
She began her career with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Ernst & Young, and now runs a robust independent practice based in Andhra Pradesh.
